Isabelle Joshua started writing because she couldn't get to sleep one night and her mind was stuck on an idea. She spent all night and the next year writing her first novel. She is the mother of five children, one small dog, and has been married for over 14 years. She lives in the South and enjoys her air conditioner while sitting in front of her laptop creating stories, researching ideas, or getting sidetracked by funny videos.
She loves to travel and spent a summer traveling in Germany, France, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland. She spent the week in Tokyo, Japan where this photo was taken. She bar hopped through Dublin, Ireland and then spent the week in London, England. She traveled to Washington, D.C. with her husband but took most of her background details for her debut book set in the Capital from Google research. While her children are young, her family travels to nearby Southern cities. But she yearns for the day when her family is older so they can do more international travel. Isabelle Joshua loves romance and interesting characters. She's been an avid reader since childhood. Her characters are witty and complex, they love intensely, and most of the time steam up the windows with their heat. She loves a good story that captures a reader and doesn't let go. She hopes to create stories that captivate her readers as well. She is passionate about promoting organizations and causes that seek to protect children from the harms of child abuse, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking.
